How to use a deep treatment on wash day

Wash day begins with our shampoo to clear away buildup from the hair. Cleansing leaves the strands fresh and prepared so our deep treatments can coat each fiber directly. A deep treatment is not a standard rinse-out conditioner, as we blend richer formulas with ingredients like keratin, ceramides, and silicones for dry, damaged, or processed hair.

Gently squeeze excess water out of the hair before you reach for the jar or bottle. If hair remains soaked, water dilutes the formula and prevents it from sticking evenly to the strands. Working with clean, damp hair ensures that the treatment stays concentrated where your hair needs it most.

Take enough product to coat your hair based on its length and density. Thick or long hair requires larger portions, often easiest to take from our 16 oz, 36 oz, or 60 oz sizes. Divide your hair into sections and distribute the cream from the ends upward toward the mid-lengths, ensuring complete coverage across natural hair, weaves, or wigs.

Allow the treatment to rest on the damp hair so the formula can do its work. Our masks are designed for weak, relaxed, colored, or natural textures that need thorough care. Once the sitting period is complete, rinse the product out completely with clean water until no slippery residue remains on the strands.

Finally, apply our leave-in styler during the drying process rather than before the deep treatment. The leave-in comes after the rinse to assist while you blow-dry or set the style. This routine helps manage dry ends across all five of our formulas, including Hidratante, Bambu, and Argan Oil.
